OUR ADVENTURE PROGRAMS AND HOW THEY WORK
EE Adventure offers programs throughout the world. In our own backyard, we can take you canyoning and abseiling in the Blue Mountains, diving with Great White Sharks off South Australia or surviving in the Kimberley outback. Further a field, we’ll guide you through full blown international adventures such as trekking the Kokoda Track in Papua New Guinea, climbing Mount Kinabalu in Malaysia or even rafting the rapids in New Zealand.
From mountaineering to trekking, parachuting to diving, sea kayaking to rafting, x-country skiing to glacial climbing, EE has all adventures covered to push you to new limits of personal achievement. EE Adventure Programs don’t just give you the opportunity to attempt an adventure challenge - we do our best to ensure you finish, comfortably. Our programs are not about ‘getting out of your comfort zone’ but more about being as comfortable as possible in an uncomfortable environment.
The EE advantage is our ability to prepare anyone for any particular adventure. We train you, prepare you both physically and mentally then stay with you every step, stroke and paddle of the way. Your preparation is our responsibility and we take it very seriously.
Our attention to detail and our ability to manage events and logistics whilst ensuring safety is paramount, ensures a smooth, professional and unforgettable experience.

THE THREE STAGES OF AN EE ADVENTURE PROGRAM
Our adventure programs are broken down into three stages:
PRE-ADVENTURE PREPARATION
During the pre-adventure training phase, ranging from 6 to 12 weeks depending on the program, we do everything possible to prepare you for your adventure. This includes both your physical and administrative preparation. Your physical preparation may include training in specialist skills such as navigation, abseiling into water, sea kayaking, survival, floatation of equipment and many other disciplines depending on the nature of the adventure. All programs involve an intensive physical conditioning program to ensure you complete the adventure comfortably.
You will receive constant administrative updates throughout your preparation and in most cases all you need to provide yourself is a pair of boots, socks and trekking shorts. Everything else from first class trekking equipment to insect repellents and sunscreens is provided and prepared by EE. Administratively, we understand that our clients are usually very busy and therefore we take care of everything that we can to assist you in the lead up to your adventure. Firstly, you will receive a comprehensive pre-trek package upon receipt of your deposit, followed by weekly email administrative newsletters leading up to your adventure. Depending on the adventure, the pre-trek package comprehensively outlines the itinerary of the adventure, physical preparation plans, nutrition guides, medical concerns, equipment and packing lists, historical details and contact details.
THE ADVENTURE PROGRAM
EE adventure programs are designed for the executive adventurer. We stay in the best hotels, we travel in the safest, most comfortable vehicles and our logistics management is first class. Safety is paramount and in most cases you won’t see the ‘work behind the scenes’ which ensures both your safety and success. You will not only experience the very best of adventure, but also the best support from your EE Team.
POST ADVENTURE PROGRAM
On completion of the program, we conduct a recovery and evaluation session in the week following your adventure. We provide you with advice in relation to recovery, stretching, ongoing fitness, and assistance with any small injury or a sore spot you may have obtained during your adventure. We also seek feedback on your experience so that we can further improve the program.

WHAT IF I AM NOT BASED IN BRISBANE?
EE has developed a remote physical preparation training course for adventurers who are not Brisbane-based. The program is fully supervised by our Director of Adventure Operations. The remote program has successfully prepared trekkers from around the country for even the toughest adventures. Following this remote program, you will still be as prepared to complete your adventure as those trekkers based in Brisbane and participating in the local program.
